Jayendra Panchapakesan is a director and filmmaker of Indian origins residing in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He has worked in Tamil and Telugu film cinema. He has a career spanning almost 40 years. Jayendra went to Vidya Mandir for his schooling. He holds a Bachelor's degree of Science in Chemistry from Vivekananda College. He entered the field of filmmaking in 1978 as an advertisement filmmaker. He directed various advertisements and founded J.S. Films in Chennai. After that, he founded Qube Cinema – a digital editing company. It has been 23 years since he co-founded Qube Cinema and it is a huge success. Jayendra 2008 made Margazhi Raagam which was one of its kind film. It showed artists performing on stage from various angles providing an all-round view to the audience. He directed and wrote the first Tamil- Telugu movie 180 (2011). He has also directed the Telugu film Naa Nuvve (2018) and produced Navarasa (2021).
