Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam was born on 5th November, 1988 in Hanamkonda, Warangal district of Telangana, India. He is a writer and director by profession who majorly works for Telugu Film Industry. He is 28 years old. He started his career in the year 2012. His genre for writing is mainly romantic comedy. He was brought up in Marredpally situated in Hyderabad. He completed his schooling from Hyderabad Public School and became its alumnus. He also did graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Swami Vivekananda Institute of Technology. After his graduation, he found his passion in film industry and to continue with it, he went to study at New York Film Academy and did graduation in film making from there. After the completion of his course, he came back to India and started working for Telugu Film Industry. He started his career in this field by working for short films and directed many of them. He worked for the short films like “Sainma” (2015) and “Anukokunda” (2012) (directed and wrote the dialogues and screenplay) in association with “Vinootha Geetha Media.” His short films were appreciated critically and got a lot of praise by the jury and crossed more than millions of views on Youtube. Another short film titled “Journey about passions, dreams, and aspirations” got selected to be premiered at “Imphal Film Festival” in the year 2015. His first individual directional venture “Pellichoopulu” (2016), a romantic comedy was a big hit at the box office as it was well received by the domestic audience and the audience situated in United States. His work got appreciation by various directors like Sukumar and SS. Rajamouli and many other recognized personalities of the Telugu Film Industry. The characters, dialogues and screenplay in the movie were inspired by “Knocked up” (a Hollywood movie) directed by Judd Apatow. It starred Ritu Verma and Vijay Devaraonda as main leads. The film was liked and praised so much that it won 2 National Awards; one as “The Best Feature Film in Telugu” and the other one as “National Award For The Best Screenplay-Dialogues.” This film is also being dubbed in Malayalam language and named as “Oru Pennu Kaanal Kadha”whose trailer has been released recently. He is a man of pretty strong will power as his movie was not accepted by the industry people and all he got was discouraging reviews. Along with film director, he is a certified tabla artist and has won over more than 85 awards in various ‘art and culture events.’
