Rakesh hailed Narendra Modi’s demonetization rule which scrapped the 1996 Mahatma Gandhi series of 500 and 1000 rupee notes. When several political parties criticized the decision and announced a “Bharat Bandh” to protest against the move, Rakesh uploaded a video where he urged his fans to support Modi.
He also mentioned that the proposed “Bandh” would not help the citizens. Alongside his fellow Jabardasth actors, he praised the rule by emphasizing its importance in bringing black money from abroad. Rakesh has attended various events as a chief guest as well. Rakesh is quite active on social media too. Rakesh also invited applications for the job of a script writer for his skits.
