Sravya, who became an established singer, was born blind. Because of her blindness, no school would accept her at that time. Her parents noticed her singing melodiously, so they took her to a teacher, Dr. Padmini. She is a native of Attapur, Hyderabad, Telangana. With the help of her teacher and her parents, she participated in Black Flowers of Music, a talent show on the ETV channel for visually challenged singers. She also participated in the show, Super Singer 8 on Star Maa Music. She received her music training from Pratima Shashidhar (for Carnatic music) and Ramachary (for light music training). Sravya, a native of Attapur, now works as a community operation specialist at Uber in Madhapur.
