Goutham Ravishankar is a Tamil Visual Effects artist. He studied at Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School and then later at New Prince Matriculation Higher Secondary School. He later went on to study Electronic Media at Guru Nanak College, Velachery and studied visual effects at Escape Studios. As a young child, he was interested in magic and films, leading him to choose a career in visual effects.
After completing his education, he worked as a film colourist in the Tamil horror movie Balloon (2017). He worked as an associate director in the Tamil comedy movie Sixer. He was also a former screenwriter, Video editor and Graphic designer at Ceterai Reka Creations, which is based in Kula Lumpur, Malaysia. He is a VFX Supervisor at RA Effects.
