Durairaj was born on 31st of December, 1910 in Tamil Nadu, India. He was a famous comedian and even a producer, director, and actor. He died on 2nd of June, 1986. He was mostly famous for his outstanding performance in Tamil films.
Durairaj was always teamed up with N.S. Krishnan (Indian Charlie Chaplin). It was the main reason Durairaj talent wasn't that recognized. But after the absence of N.S. Krishnan (N.S.K) Durairaj was in the limelight.
Born in a family of workers, Durairaj was not that into studies, and so he joined a company, known as ‘Boys.’ Boys was a drama group for only boys, thus hired only boys at that time. He did Malaikkallan in 1954. Then in 1951, he did Kaalvathi and Manamagal. In 1953, he appeared in Thirumbi Paar. In 1942, he was seen in Tamizhariyum Perumal. In 1950, he was in Ezhai Padum Padu. In 1949, He was in movie Ratnakumar. In 1955, he was in Kalvanin Kadhali. In 1941, he also did Mani Maalai.
