Peeli Sivam

Peeli Sivam is an Indian film and television actor, who mainly works in the Tamil film industry. He started his acting career during the 80’s and was debuted in K. Vijayan’s Tamil drama film, Doorathu Idi Muzhakkam. The film stars Vijayakanth, who also directed Peeli Sivam’s 2010 Tamil action film, Virudhagiri. It was also in the year 1980 when he acted in the Tamil film, Rishi Moolam. Other films to his credit during the 80’s include Hitler Umanath and Samayapurathale Satchi.

Also in 1983, he acted in Sivaji Ganesan-starrer film, Imaigal, followed by a performance in Manivannan’s Muthal Vasantham in 1986. He also bagged a role in K.S. Gopalakrishnan’s Paarthal Pasu in 1988 and was later seen in the 1989 Tamil film, Manasukketha Maharasa. During the 90’s, he continued to perform supporting roles in films like Azhagan (1991), Rajadurai (1993), Veeramani (1994), Ilaignar Ani (1994), Thayagam (1996), Aavathum Pennale Azhivathum Pennale (1996), Pasamulla Pandiyare (1997), Ganga Gowri (1997), Dhinamum Ennai Gavani (1997), Mugam (1999) and many more. Peeli Sivam also ventured into television and acted in the TV serial, Idhu Oru Kadhal Kathai (2005). He was also cast on STAR Vijay’s drama soap, Kana Kaanum Kaalangal This is a story about school life aired between Mo >> Read More... (2006). He portrayed the role of Annamalai in the Tamil soap opera, Uravugal (2009), which was aired on Sun TV.
