Venkataraman Gopalakrishnan film actor, in the second half of the 20th century, who worked in Tamil cinema as a film actor. He was born in Tiruchirappalli in the year 1933. After completing his undergraduate studies, he enrolled in St. Joseph's College in Tiruchirappalli before moving to Chennai to enroll at the University of Madras and completing his master's degree. He began his career as a young artist at the age of 9. He was a successful character actor as well as a well-known antagonist and supporting actor. He appeared in more than 400 Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi movies throughout the course of a nearly five-decade acting career. His command of English was admired in the film industry. He showed enthusiasm in stage plays, joined a Tamil theatre drama group, and started acting in plays. He passed away on April 29, 1998.
