Tanushree

Tanushree is a Kollywood / Tamil singer known for “ Super Singer Junior Story Soon >> Read More... (2006),” a reality television show aired on a popular Tamil channel and sponsored by Bharti Airtel. She gained popularity at a very young age along with her brother Tej. She even shared some cute and funny moments with her brother in the show, entertaining judges and audiences. At the age of four, she first appeared on this reality show. Tanushree sang various songs including, ‘Google Google’ from the movie Thuppakki, ‘Enna Solla’ from the movie Thanga Magan, ‘Karuppu Than Yenukku Pudicha Color’ from Vetrikkodi Kattu movie, in the ‘Colours Round,’

‘Naan Uru Sindu’ in the ‘Freestyle Round,’ and ‘Poo Pookam Osai’ from ‘Minasara Kanavu’ in the set ‘Introduction Round.’ Tanushree collaborated with Sajini (one of the participants from the show) and sang ‘Vada Mapula’ from the movie Villu in ‘the top fifteen celebration round.’ In episode two of Super Singer Junior, little Tanushree’s cuteness personified, which brought the judges to their feet with her performance & choice of song. S P Balasubrahmanyam, being one of the judges, personally was impressed by her performance and shared a few memories with her. Apart from performing on the show, she sang the ‘Azhage Azhage’ song from the film Saivam in a school program.

Tanushree debuted in the film “Kadaikutty Singham (2018),” an action drama directed by Pandiraj and produced by Suriya (an Indian actor, producer, and television presenter in Tamil cinema). The cast Sathyaraj, Priya, Karthi, and Sayyeshaa assisted her during the shooting. In one of the episodes of the reality show “Super Singer Junior,” the actor Karthi interacted with the singer, teaching her how to act. She even managed to impress the viral hit song ‘Vaa Jikki Kutu number’ singer Imman (a music composer), later auditioned her voice and gave the word to give her a chance to sing a track for one of his upcoming albums.
