Janani Bharadwaj is an Indian playback singer who has primarily worked in the Tamil and Telugu movies industries. She is the daughter of famous Indian music composer, singer and, lyricist Ramani Bharadwaj. Janani was born in Bengaluru on June 30, 1989, and bought up in Chennai, where she pursued a Computer Engineering college degree. She is married to Karthik, who is also a software engineer. They now reside abroad. In 2005, Janani debuted as a playback singer with the song ‘Aththiri Baththiri’, by her father Ramani Bharadwaj, for the film Ayya. She is known for the famous song Tottodaing, a dance number with joyful beats in the Asal movie. She has sung for over 15 films, including Priyasakhi, Kundakka Mandakka, February 14, Vattaram, Pallikoodam, Solla Inikkum, Nandhi, etc.
