Diluckshan Jeyaratnam

Diluckshan Jeyaratnam is a singer, musician, and actor. He has given his vocals in many hit Tamil movies. He has also performed as an actor in many Dramas. Diluckshan is a Sri Lankan Tamil. He was born and brought up in Denmark. He has taken a degree in Multimedia studies. Also, he was a musical theatre student in Denmark. He had auditioned for The Danish School of Performing Arts. He was one of the few eight students selected. When Diluckshan admitted to his family that he wanted to go ahead for a singing career, there was no surprise to it. He has been linked to music since his childhood. His father says he always knew that his son would go far in singing. Also, he says that his family was his band. His father was a guitarist, his sister used to be there on the keyboard, and his mother used to sing. Diluckshan was a drummer.

He started to sing at the early age of nine. He used to play various instruments like the piano, saxophone, flute, and guitar. Before singing in movies, he used to do YouTube covers of Hindi and Tamil songs. He became famous for his covers worldwide. His offer for the hit Tamil film Podhuvaga Emmanasu Thangam came to him after D. Imman, an Indian film composer, listened to his YouTube covers.
