He is an Indian playback singer in the film industry. His works are mainly associated with Tamil films in the industry. He was born in Singapore and started his music, career thereby founding one of Singapore’s oldest Indian orchestras, Febra Music Party.
In Singapore, he was very active in television and theater, also Won a few competitions and became the first Tamil artiste to cross over from the Vasantham, the Tamil channel to English Channel 5. Later on, he moved to Chennai, India where he currently lives.
At 17, he started his career as a pub singer under the mentorship of the late musician Rishi Kumar. Later on, he works at the Armed Forces Music and Drama Company, during his National Service.
In 2010 he participated in Vijay TV’s Super Singer; it featured international contestants in addition to Indian singers.
There he won the Best Overseas Contestant and Best Entertainer awards. He has worked in popular movies like Spyder, IruMugan, his previous film to hit the theaters was Spyder in 2017.
