Magizhini Manimaaran is an Indian playback singer, popular amongst the regional audience for her work on the soundtracks of movies like S/O Satyamurthy (2015), Veeram (2014), Kumki (2012), etc. Mostly known for her major involvement in Tamil TV shows, short films, and Kollywood movies, she has regularly been praised by the critics for her vocal depth and transitions, the two qualities which are very crucial to the efficiency of a playback singer. In 2012, Magizhini made her first notable contribution on the silver screen with the film Kumki, directed by Prabu Solomon, starring Vikram Prabhu, Lakshmi Menon, and Thambi Ramayya. Since then, we haven’t really seen much from her.

Deepika V is a multi-talented personality. She is a singer, a model, a dubbing artist, and also an actor. She is also passionate about playing the piano. She has completed her B.Tech. In Information Technology from Easwari Engineering College. Currently, she is pursuing her masters in the Sanskrit language from Madras University. She has trained under Geetha Varadarajan, Vairamangalam Lakshmi Narayanan, Vittal Ramamurthy, and O.S.Thiagarajan in Carnatic music. From 1997, she began to take lessons from Padmashri Sudha Raghunathan. She first sang a classical song on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. M.L.Vasantakumari, at the tender age of three. She had also released her album named Chinnanchiru Kiliye when she was just eight. Since then she has numerous albums to her credit like Shirdi Baba, Kandha Shashti Kavasam, Samarpanam, Thiru malaivasa, and much more. She has also lent her voice in various movies, in different languages and has worked with prolific personalities like Ilayaraja, M.S.Visvanathan, A. R. Rahman, Vidyasagar, Deva, and much more. She has essayed the lead role in serials like Kaiyalvu Manasu and its Hindi dubbed version Chhoti Si Asha. She also sang the title track of both the shows. Besides that, she has enacted in K. Balachander's film Kaadhal Vangi Vanden and Amma Ammanu Chudalani Vundhi. She also crooned a song in the latter. She has also done a few advertisements for brands like Sakthi Masala, Henko, Duke's biscuits, Karur Vysya Bank, Jayam foods, and much more. She has also dubbed in movies like Ennavale, Avvai Shanmugi, The Lion King, Soorya vamsham and much more. She has appeared and passed her grade examination in western classical solo piano from the prestigious Trinity College of Music, London. She has won several competitions and has performed in numerous temples and gatherings. The government of United States of America selected her for an Arts Exchange Programme, whose theme was Music Composition and Performance. Several countries like Brazil, South Africa, Ireland, and Mali had participated in it. She was the only one representing India and who presented a classical song which had the flavors of the South India as well. Esteemed music institutions like Music Academy-Spirit of Youth Festival, Rajalakshmi Fine Arts in Coimbatore, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, R.R.Sabha in Mumbai, Mylapore Fine Arts Club, Sangeetha Parishath in Mangalore, Karthik Fine Arts, The Indian Fine Arts Society, Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, Nungambakkam Cultural Academy, Brahma Gana Sabha, Thyaga Bramha Gana Sabha, whose other name is Vani Mahal, and Bharath Kalachar have called Deepika to perform at their place.

Chinnaponnu was born in Suranam in Sivagangai District in TamilNadu, India. As a child of thirteen years old, she actively participated in several temple festivals and churches. After that, she started to sing in the troupe of Artist Kottaisamy as a professional singer. She used to say him as her mentor. Later she was noticed by Gunasekar who is a member of Communist party. As he is in search of folk songs and folk artist he helped her to explore herself in several parts of the state. By the year 2004, she made her first entry in the Tamil cinemas as a playback singer for the movie Chandramuki song Valthuren Valthuren. After these performances, she started to appear in several television shows and also approached by several directors. By the year 2008, she made her next major hit Nakku Mukka which appeared in the movie Kadhalil Vilunthen. She received Kannadhasan Award for that Song. She also noted as the Best folk song singer in Tamil. This song also featured in several other versions and won several credits. The changed lyric of this song is made for an Ad film A Day in the Life of Chennai. It credited with two gold Lions from Cannes by the year 2009. Also, the song featured in the Bollywood movie The Dirty Picture. By the year 2010, for the play Suriyan Satta Kalluri song Theeka Theeka she received the Edition award of the year. By the same year, she appeared in the World Classical Tamil Conference 2010. For the song composed by A.R.Rahman she was one of the notable artists in that theme song. By the year 2010 and 2011, she and her troop were one of the notable acts in the Chennai Sangamam Festival. She featured in the MTV Coke Studio Television series by the year 2011 June, for the episodes Vethalai and Tere Naam. She joined hands with singers Papon and Kailash Kher. She began her Telugu Industry career by the song Pattuko Pattuko for the talkie Bus Stop with JB and G.Anil in the year 2012. She also published her songs in cassettes. Her first audio tape is Suriya Thoaranam which was released by her Father Bakianathan. Her next cassette is Thannan composed with Gunasekaran and distributed by Communist Party. She also recorded her songs during her childhood age and as an adult, but those records were sold informally. Her Solo Songs include Marikkozhunthae in the year 2005 and Thannane Thannane in the year 2009.
