Rashaanth Arwin is an India music composer, singer, and sound mixer who works for the Tamil music industry. He completed his schooling from Vestley Matriculation higher secondary school, Aranthangi. After that, he pursued a degree in sound engineering from Loyola College, Chennai. Born in Chennai, both of his parents are from a music background, and as a result, he started learning music formally at the tender age of nine. After completing his school, he began composing music.

Apart from being a singer, he got trained in playing Veena and Guitar. His father, Kannan worked for the music director duo Shankar-Ganesh as a violinist. His mother Latha is a well-known playback singer who is a professional in singing Ghazals, Tamil, and Hindi tracks. She has also been a leading singer for the live bands of various music directors. After the split of the duo Shankar-Ganesh, his parents, also known by their showbiz name Kannan-Latha shifted to Tiruchi.

They started a music school in 1996 and named it Maar’s Win School of Music. The school has been running for more than two decades now. He worked as a music composer at that school for years. His grandfather, C.S Subburaman was a renowned music director in the music industry until his death. He composed scores 58 movies in just a decade including Laila Majnu, Devdas, Velaikari, Ratnamala, etc.

He died before the birth of Rashaanth, but he still looks up to him for inspiration. His grandfather’s younger brother Shankar was the other half of the composer duo Ganesh-Shankar for whom Rashaanth’s father played the violin. Other than his grandfather, he got inspired by Ilayaraja and the Mozart of India, A.R. Rahman. In the starting days of his career, he used to play and compose music on borrowed keyboards. He has come a long way, and now he owns a studio. He directed the music of many short films, documentaries, and private albums before success came to him.

Some of the albums he composed include Yedhanu Meete and Thittam- Acham Thavvir. He acquired his big break when he directed music for the blockbuster horror film Yoogan (2015). Some of the famous songs on the album were Yoogan (theme song), Beer Anthem, Ajili Bijli, Yaru Yaradi, and Breakup Party. The album contains both energetic or peppy and soft-toned songs. He is currently living in Tiruchchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. Raasanth Arwin wants to become a teacher and teach music.

Mahesh Mahadevan was an Indian music composer and music director predominantly working in the Tamil film industry in the 1990s. Mahesh Mahadevan has composed about 250 famous advertising jingles. He was the composer of the Regal Blue jingle. Mahesh Mahadevan has also made music for about six of multi-language motion pictures which became very successful. He was born in October 28th in Bengaluru in Karnataka, India and passed away in October of the year 2002. He was diagnosed with cancer and was under cancer counseling for about a decade before his demise. He fought cancer bravely for about 14 years. Mahesh Mahadevan was very active in motivating cancer patients to approach medication with a positive attitude. The friends of Mahesh Mahadevan founded the Mahesh Memorial Trust (MMT) in the year 2002 after his demise. The friends were determined to use the funds collected through this trust to build a pediatric ward in the Cancer Institute Campus located at Adyar, Chennai. The involvement of the Trustees was so sincere that they kept a keen eye through the entire process from designing to execution to completion. They eventually built the 50 bed, 22,000 square feet pediatric ward. The MMT handed over the finished structure to Dr. Shanta who is the Chairperson of Cancer Institute in 2009. Mahesh Mahadevan was a very diverse person. Apart from composing music, Mahesh Mahadevan was involved in business and creative interests. He worked at Real Image Media Technologies as the Director of Finance and Administration. He has also worked in many companies as a Corporate Manager including India Pistons Ltd., a Chennai-based company. Mahesh Mahadevan has an MBA degree from Xavier School of Management (XLRI) in Jamshedpur. Mahesh Mahadevan's debut as a composer in Tamil industry was for the movie Nammavar which released in the year 1994. He worked in Telugu movies such as Preminchukundam Raa in 1997, Pelladi Choopistha om 1998 and Padutha Theeyaga also in 1998. Mahesh Mahadevan composed the background score for the Hindi film Abhay in the year 2001. His Tamil movies include Kuruthipunal in 1995, background score for Aalavandhan in 2001. He has even composed for a Malayalam project called Moonnilonnu in the year 2001. In the year 2001, Mahesh Mahadevan composed music for the Tamil movie Vaanam Vasappadum with unfortunately became the last work in his career. Mahesh Mahadevan has received many special mentions in National Film Awards. Some of the movies for which he received appreciation are Indradhanura Chhai and Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke.
