What do the movies Teens, Milli, Vegam, and Ithihasa have in common? Swapna Menon. She is a budding, beautiful, and successful actress who works in the Malayalam movie industry. Swapna started her acting career from the movie "Manthrikan" in 2012. She had a minor role in it, as a supporting actress but this movie helped her to showcase her talent. After this, she was unstoppable. Daughter of Mr. Balagopal Menon and Mrs. Soumini Menon, from Kozhikode district in Kerala, Swapna has spent most of her life in Mumbai. She can speak fluently in English, Hindi, and Marathi. She has done her schooling from Pria school, Rasayani in Raigad, Mumbai and her +2 from H.O.C International school, Mumbai. She has done BMM ( Journalism and Advertising) from South India Education Society (SIES) College of Arts, Commerce, and Science, Mumbai. She has a younger brother named Adityan Menon.

Though "Manthrikan" was not a huge success, but it was a good start for Swapna. After this movie, she got a role in Shyju Anthikkad's "Scene Onnu Nammude Vedu," where she had a prominent role. She was even seen in a supporting role in the romantic movie "Hide n Seek,".but the turning point in Swapna's acting career was Jahangir Shamzuddin 's "Teens" where she got the role of Shruthi Mennon, a first year student doing her graduation which was the lead role in the movie. The movie released in 2013 and was a success. It was based on college life and youth. She was seen as Indulekha in Sohanlal's "Kadhaveedu." She was seen opposite the star, Biju Menon. Indulekha is shown as the love interest of Biju Menon. "Kadhaveedu" is based on Madhavikutty's short story "Neypaysam." "Kadhaveedu" was the movie from where the growth rate of Swapna's career increased exponentially.

After this movie, she was called for VK Prakash's movie "Mazhaneer Thullikal," which was a female oriented movie. In her latest movie "Milli," which was released in 2015, Swapna was seen as Shelly, as the roommate of the protagonist. She made her debut in the Tamil film industry through Eshwaramurthy's "Tholkappean." She had the lead role in the movie, by the name of Aishwarya. She was also seen in the lead role of Vijay Shanmugavel's "Onbathilirunth Paththu Vara" where she played opposite to Kathir. She is also going to make her debut in the Kollywood industry through "Twalkappean". Her movie list includes Teens(2013), Geethanjali (2013), Vegam (2014), Ithihasa (2014), Milli (2015), and many more. This amazing actress has wonderful talent and has a promising career ahead.
