Jaya Seal is a Indian actress who was born and brought up in Guwahati, India. She has acted in over 15 films and over seven languages altogether. She had a strong passion and interest for acting and since her childhood she wanted to be a part of the Indian Film and Entertainment Industry.

For the dream to come true she learned about acting and the art of films and later took a degree in arts from National School of Drama. Jaya Seal came to the lime light and the hot topic for discussion after her role in the television serial ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki’. After the success of the serial she got more and more opportunity from different directors and producers. She has also acted in many commercials advertising various premium products. She has also won a state Award from Assam for Bihu dance. She has also got an opportunity to be a part of a super hit movie, ‘Prithbi Amake Chai’.

Moving on to her life and interests she is married to Bikram Ghosh who is a famous table player. She was introduced to him in the sets of the popular television show ‘Hotath Heerar Jonye’. They tied their knot on February 2004. Her first breakthrough to the entertainment industry was through an Oriyan film. She moved from Guwahati and came down and settled in Navi Mumbai as the city gave her more exposure to the entertainment industry
