Anaitha Nair was born on 19th July 1984. She is a talented young actress born in Banglore, India. Her father came from a Persian origin while her mother was a Malayalee. This Indian actress is best known for her acting in the famous Bollywood film ‘Chak De India!’ playing the role of Aliya Bose.
She was introduced as an extremely smart and tough hockey player in the film. The film brought her to fame and stardom easily. The film revolves around an upcoming National Women Hockey team in India and the ups and downs that such an emerging team has to face. Thanks to her Malayali background, she has been seen to be a part of two Malayalam films: ‘By the People’ in 2005 and ‘IG’ in 2009. To play this character she had shaved her hair off, and follow a strict diet for months, while performing prescribed exercises according to a fixed schedule.
