N. P. Ismail is a Tamil film director. He has directed many films, amongst which there are some known ones. His debut directorial venture was the horror Solla Matten, in 2013 and the other was Kuttrappinnani in the year 2023, wherein a crime versus justice tale is narrated. Other notable works include I.R.8 (2019), the film revolves around the issue of a farmer's struggle against debt, and how he manages to survive by his innovative methods. Tamil film
