and academic award nominee Claudia Llosa at the International Filmmaking Academy, an MFA from the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing arts, Prague (FAMU), and the Film Preservation and Restoration School of India. As a storyteller, she focuses primarily on contemporary social themes.
Her debut short film, Kanya premiered at the Busan International Film Festival. It has won several laurels, including a nomination for the Sonje Award for best Asian Director, a semi-final spot at the 2021 student academy awards, and a successful run in several Academy Award qualifying film festivals across the world. She is based in Prague and is currently working on several projects, including her debut feature film, tentatively titled Change of Heart.
