A J Murugan is a Tamil director and writer. He was born and raised in Tamil Nadu, where he still lives to have his future career. He has been part of only two films to date. In 2004, he directed the famous movie Manmadhan. The film further won two award nominations. For this film, AJ Murugan shared his director role with Silambarasan Rajendar. He also tried his hands in writing the script/dialogues for another famous movie, Madana. The film was released in 2006. For this film, AJ Murugan shared the writing platform with other writers like Jai Jagdeesh and Rajendra Karanth.
In 2018, Murugan revealed in an interview that Manmadhan was originally planned for
