Selva RS

Selva RS is a renowned Indian Director of Photography who has worked on several hit Tamil films. He made his debut as a DOP in 1999 in the Tamil drama movie, Periyanna (1999). Starring MeenaDurairaj, Vijayakanth, and SuriyaSivakumar in the lead roles, this film was directed by SA Chandrasekhar. He then worked on 2000 Tamil drama, UyirileKalanthathu (2000), starring JyothikaSadanah and SuriyaSivakumar.

Maanga (2015) is a short sci-fi Tamil comedy, directed by R.S. Raja, which revolves around the fate of an amateur scientist after he fails to invent a rocket that could repair the hole in the ozone layer. In 2019, Selva was the DOP for the movie, Nan AvalaiSanthithaPodhu, directed and written by LG Ravichandar. Set in 1995-96, this movie is based on a real-life incident and stars SanthoshPrathap and ChandiniTamilarasan in the lead.
