Padmini Priyadarshini is an Actor, Dancer, and Choreographer. She was born on 8th September 1944 in Mavelikkara, Kerala, and raised in Chennai. Padmini was always interested in dancing and soon began learning from Vazhuvoor. B. Ramaiah Pillai. She was a prominent dancing figure. Padmini owned a dancing school in Bangalore named Natya Priya, where she, along with her students, performed in countries like the United States and, the United Kingdom. Padmini acted in many Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada films from 1950 to 1960.
A few of her notable works are Sahodhari, released in the year 1959, Paadha Kaanikkai, released in the year 1962, and Life of Pi, which was released in the year 2012. She was married to Ramchandram from Thalassery. The couple had one daughter and three sons. Padmini was appointed as the Head of the Education Board in Karnataka. In the year 2013, Padmini was awarded Shantala Natya Sri Award by the Karnataka Government. After accomplishing so many things in life, Padmini passed away at the age of 71.
