Dr Meenakshi Bajaj

Dr. Meenakshi Bajaj is a nutrigenomics counselor, a nutrition expert, a licensed critical care dietitian, a diabetes educator, a bariatric nutritionist, and a columnist. She is now the Dietician at the Tamil Nadu Government Multi Super Speciality Hospital in Chennai and the President of the Chennai Chapter of the Indian Dietetic Association (2015- 2018). She is a Member of the Indian Dietetic Association's National Executive Committee, the Indian Dietetic Association's National Executive Committee (2019-2022), and the Association of Diabetic Educators' National Executive Committee (2019-2022). Meenakshi is also a LEC Member of the Chennai Chapter of the Nutrition Society of India. She serves on the board of studies, as well as the research and technical committees.

She has presented at over 150 international meetings around the country as a resource person, and she has written for several textbooks and manuals. She works as a Nutrition Faculty member for NHM and TNHSP programs. She continues to encourage prospective dieticians with her 25 years of clinical and therapeutic dietetics expertise. Many people have benefited from her nutritional treatments. The Governor of Tamil Nadu appointed her as an honorary medical nutritionist (2006-2011).
