T. K. Bhagavathi

T KBhagavathi is a well-known actor from the Tamil film industry. He is the youngest brother of T.K Shanmugam. They are four brothers named Sankaran, Muthuswamy, Shanmugam, and Bhagavathy. His birth year is 1917. He served the film industry for 45 years, from 1935 to 1979. He performed in various plays in Tamil Nadu and Tamil-speaking countries before independence. He performed the character roles of father and brother in various Tamil films. He debuted with the movie Menaka, released in 1935. His notable movies are Sampoorna Ramayanam in 1957 in the role of Ravana, Manithan in 1953, Ratha Paasam in 1954, Sivagangai Seemai in 1959, Kulamagal Radhai in 1963 in the role of Sundaresan, Uyira Maanama in 1968, Panama Pasama in 1968 in the role of Nagalingam, Nam Naadu in 1969 in the role of Muthaiya, En Annan in 1970 in the role of Velappan, Rajapart Rangadurai in 1973 in the role of Vasanthi’s father, Sivakamiyin Selvan in 1974 in the role Sankar, Vani Rani in 1974 in the role of Ravi’s Father, Avan Oru Sarithiram in 1977 in the role of Namachivayam and many more. In 1979, his last film, Aarilirunthu Arubathu Varai, was released with the star Rajinikanth, in which he was in the role of Santhanam’s boss. He passed away in 1982.
