Sanah Moidutty is an Indian playback singer born on July 1, 1991. She is from Kerala and has a varied voice. She did her computer engineering from St. Francis Institute of Technology, Mumbai. Sanah Moidutty studied Carnatic classical music for six years under Sundari Gopalakrishnan and seven years of Hindustani classical music with Madhuvanti Pethe. She also learned Western vocals from Samantha Edwards and got brief guidance from Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan. Sanah Moidutty got her first break in Bollywood through a college talent hunt in 2011, which led to her singing for films. In 2012, she launched her YouTube channel. Sanah posted her first video, a rendition of “Manmarziyan”, in 2013. The cover got a positive response. Sanah then sang “O Rangrezz” from “ Bhaag Milkha Bhaag Click to look into! >> Read More... ”- which impressed Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the original composer. She shared this version with A.R. Rahman, who liked it and eventually led her to sing three songs for Rahman the following year.
