Sajni starred in the famous show named “Akkara Kazhchakal." The sitcom depicted the life and times of a Malayali family living in the United States. Kairali TV broadcasted the series in 2008. Insurance agent George Thekkinmoottil (played by Jose Valiyakallumkall), the male protagonist, is still attracted by his home and struggles to adjust to life in America. But, his wife Rincy (played by Sajini Sachariah), a nurse, has settled in nicely. She wishes for a better existence and admires the American way of life. Abi Varghese and Ajayan Venugopalan adapted the famous sitcom into a film in 2011.

The well-known show “Akkara Kazhchakal” is the first actual Malayalam sitcom with real-life situations and humorous dialogues. Other Indian serials lack realistic sequences. This series provided a welcome change of pace for Malayalee viewers  and defied broadcasting traditions. They had grown up watching cheesy, unrealistic television shows. The creators published the whole episode for YouTube. “Akkara Kazhchakal” received worldwide acclaim during its initial run and succeeding years. The show received praise for its realistic portrayal of real-life Malayali living, social commentary, and satirical humor. Josekutty Valiyakallumkal's portrayal of George Thekkinmoottil, the family patriarch, has received widespread acclaim.

Sajini had fun and excitement while playing Rincy in the series for years. For her, the series was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. She appeared in the sitcom for two years and, 50 episodes and the Shooting felt like a friendly get-together. Onset, she liked the companionship of her co-stars. There was a true sense of friendship on-screen. Sajini also portrayed Rincy in the sitcom's cinematic adaptation.

Sajini has worked with Fine Arts Malayalam, a theatre company based in New Jersey. She worked as a professional drama performer. She had worked in a professional theatre for a long time. Sajni was delighted to work in the entertainment industry. Dramas and movies allowed her to stay connected to Malayalam despite spending over 30 years in the United States. She needed to memorize and deliver the lines flawlessly for her dramas.

Sajni had a reasonably seamless transition from stage to screen. She recalls the sets of ABCD being "friendly.” She felt comfortable with the cast and crew. Sajini thanks her family for their constant support throughout her acting career. She began her acting career when her children were young. She worked full-time in the mortgage servicing department of a credit union.
