It was premiered on February 15, 2008 and ends in the year 2010. It comprises with fifty episodes which narrated the lives of Malayali family who lives in U.S.

The show is considered as the first real Malayalam sitcom that portrays real-life events and humorous dialogues with lesser artificial dramatic scenes. The serial was mostly shot at US and the houses used in the serial are the real houses of the creators of this serial.
