Shajin

Shajin is a Malayalam actor who appears in films and even in TV serials. Aniyathipraavu is his first movie. Following the hit story, the film was remade in Tamil as Kadhalukku Mariyadhai with Shalini and Vijay in the lead roles. Both the Malayalam and the Tamil film had Lalithamma as the mother of Shalini and Shajin. Shajin acted in the Tamil film, Kannukkul Nilavu, a Vijay starrer in the year 2000 and Malayalam movies such as Chronic Bachelor and Plus Two. Plus Two was released in the year 2010. Shajin’s aim was to become a director in the film industry and so he stepped in as an assistant dirfector, before he committed to act in films. He assisted in Harihar Nagar, his career first movie. He is the niece of director Fazil and he joined him as an assistant. He worked in films like Pappayude Swantham Apoos, Harikrishnans, Manichitrathazhu, Ente Sooryaputhrikku, Kaiyethum Dhoorath and many more. At present he is performing in some Malayalam serials. His serials are Neela Kurinji pookunnu, Chillu Vilakku, Kaanaa Kinavu and Nombarapoovu. He is also a business person, with the partnership in a popular shoe company in Ernakulam. He is married to Saleela and has three children Najaa, Hiba and Wafa.
