Dr. Rashmi Madhu is an Indian singer who was born in Kochi, Kerala, India. She is a physician cum playback singer who resides in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. She has been working with the Mollywood entertainment industry. She was the featured singer of AL LAYALI, an Arabic troupe in Doha, Qatar. There she was known by the name, ‘MAHA.’ She started learning music from an early age and learned about the nuances of singing from late G.Devarajan. She had won the film critics award in 2003. She has been singing in movies and albums too. She did mastery in many languages and knows Arabic plus Urdu Gazals. She was a top-quality singer and also played a vital part in the Nightingales pop group.
