Radhika Thilak was Born in 1969, a well-known Malayalam playback artist and devotional vocalist. She studied at St. Teresa's school and Chinmaya Vidyalaya in Ernakulam. She won first prize in her school’s youth celebration in light music years prior. She picked up consideration through light music and later entered standard silver screen as a singer. She worked with All India Radio too. The beautiful vocalist married Mr. Suresh Krishna, and the couple have a girl called Devika Suresh. Radhika, with her family, was in Dubai for a couple of years because of her significant others’ employment. "Pulkodithumbilum", for the motion picture “Sanghaganam” by P. A. Backerwas, was her debut tune in 1979. However, the sentimental "Maya manchalil" song from the film “Ottayal Pattalam” directed by T. K. Rajeev Kumar, was her first mainstream melody in 1991.

Commonly, her voice felt similar to Chitra's voice. Though Radhika had maximum capacity, she was not among those artists who stuck at entryways looking for circumstances. She was content with the way her life was going. The truth is that music writers too didn't utilize her voice to its full potential. Despite the fact that she remained in the shadows of Sujatha and Chitra, she picked up acclaim and fame as a stage artist and devotional vocalist. Radhika Thilak passed away on 20 September of 2015 at 8.15 pm at a private healing center Kochi in Kerala. She was just 45 years at that point. She was fighting cancer for over two years, and the most noticeable fact is that the favored vocalist had throat cancer.

The doctors recommended her not to give more pressure to throat. Radhika enjoyed a reprieve from the Malayalam movie Industry and was driving a family life for some time. However, fortunes did not support the family and she left the world. Radhika was at her home at Panampally Nagar amid her last days and was taken to the doctor's facility following a feverish condition. Aside from film melodies and light music, Radhika has also sung for some reverential collections. The tune 'Deva sangeetham nee alle', from Guru by Rajiv Anchal; 'Thirvaathira Kai Nokkiya' and 'Manjakiliyude mooli pattunde' from Kanmadam by A. K. Lohithadas etc., are some of her hit melodies in Malayalam. Radhika, as a vocalist, was fortunate to sing duets with famous artists like K. J. Yesudas, G Venugopal, M G sreekumar and so on. The end of the singer shocked her family and whole of Kerala. The loss of this excellent woman with an entrancing voice is one of the greatest misfortune for the Malayalam cinema. Radhika Thilak was a prominent Malayalam playback singer who took the South Indian music industry by storm. She was the daughter of Thilak and Girja Devi. Radhika belonged to a musical household, and this helped her cultivate her music skills at a very young age. She was born in Ernakulam, Kerala, India in the year 1969. Radhika attended co-ed Chinmaya Vidyalaya in Ernakulam. She then completed her graduation from St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam. Her principal, Kamakshi Balakrishnan, noticed her music expertise.

Radhika found a solace in music and acquired her training in vocals from T.S. Radhakrishnanji, a famous music composer, and producer. She even took music lessons from a famous music composer Berny Ignatius while she was in college. Radhika had to struggle a tad-bit because Chithra and Sujatha were the main center of attention in the Malayalam music industry around that time. But she marked her presence despite all these difficulties. She began her career with the song ‘Pachilathoni Thuzhanju’ from the movie Pachilathoni (1989).

This song marked the beginning of her career in the Malayalam music industry. Radhika then went ahead to provide vocals for many super-hit songs including Ninte Kannil, Maya Manchalil, Manjakkiliyude and much more among others. She has worked in several popular movies like Guru, Pranayam, Ravanaprabhu and much more among others. She recorded several religious songs as well including Yesuve Neeyanen, Sandhyanamam and much more among others.

She also gained popularity because of her stage shows performed under the guidance of M.G. Sreekumar. Radhika had collaborated with several music composers such as Ilayaraja, Johnson, Mohan Sithara and many others. Radhika took a break from her singing career after the birth of her daughter and moved to Dubai with her family. Coming to her personal life, she married Suresh, owner of an event managing company, and gave birth to a daughter, Devika. Devika is a law student. Radhika lost her life to cancer on September 20, 2015. Everyone expressed grief over the loss of a talented singer.
