Prarthana S Ratheesh is a young singing prodigy of Indian origins. She was born in Trivandrum in the state of Kerala and is a sensational performer. Prarthana was inclined toward music since she was 2 years old. Her father is also fond of music and performer hence he had a great influence on her. Prarthana began her training in Carnatic music at the young age of three years. She soon started performing live and got invited to perform in small-scale events and local gatherings. Her first media appearance was at the age of 4 years on Asianet – a Malayalam channel.
This attracted a lot of attention and she became known. After that, she was invited on various channels for small gigs and interviews and several newspapers featured articles and stories about her. She was seen in reality shows on many local Kerelan channels like Mathrubhumi, Kairali TV, Victors TV, and Amrita TV. Prarthana has been a part of 12 albums out of which ten are wholly solo. She has been able to give over 830 live performances up till now.
