Poornasree Haridas

Poornasree Haridas is an Indian Singer. From her childhood, she has been guided by her parents, who were also singers. Her mother is a music teacher, which helps her to learn a lot about music. When she was only four years of old, her parents took her to her father’s hometown at Perumbavoor. The students there are given a lot of opportunities for stage performances, which helps the student to gain confidence. At the age of nine, she won the title of Little Masters. At a very young age, she started singing in and out of Kerala and abroad.

She was a student of Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad. The school teachers and principal also supported her to a great extent. She studied there for eight years. She won the title of Best Female Singer in Sangeetha Mahayudham, which was telecasted on Surya TV; and also in Tharolsavam in Kairali TV. In 2018, she won the VILAN Youth Icon Award of the year, and in 2010, she won the inspire film award for the best female singer. She has always remained grateful towards her mother, father, and her sister, without them, her journey would have been incomplete.

His Guru was Shri Chandramana Narayanan Naamboothiri. She has been learning music under his guidance since 2002 at Perumbavoor. His systematic and sincere training has brought her to what she is now today. She has also been disciple of some great musicians like, Shri Madhu BalaKrishnan, Shri Shankaran Naamboothiri, and Vivekanand. Poornasree has grabbed the attention of the audience at a very young age and has achieved her goals.
