The audiences of all ages loved the film very much. P R Arun’s talent as a writer is conspicuous in the entire length of the movie. JamnaPyari received critical appreciation to a great extent. This motion picture managed to impress the Malayalam audience as well as the critics. The story of JamnaPyari revolves around a man with the name of Vasootan, who is an auto-rickshaw driver. He is very helpful and does not ignore anyone in need. KunchackoBoban plays the role of Vasootan here. Once a woman named Parvathy seeks the services of Vasootan’s auto. After a period, Vasootan realizes that Parvathy was the child who his father had rescued many years back.

Vasootan’s dad, Vasu, loses his life in the process. The ravishing actress Gayathri Suresh plays the part of the woman by the name of Parvathy in JamnaPyari. Soon, Parvathy’s father calls Vasootan to their home to ask him to marry her as she loved him a lot. Parvathy’s father asks for his help to transfer a hundred goats of the Jamnapari type to a company, which got placed abroad. Vasootan agrees, and he soon gets on with the work of accomplishing the given task. However, things aren’t easy for him as his father’s enemy constantly tries to get him to fail. Nevertheless, Vasootan is a hardworking man and keeps at his task dedicatedly. Not very long after that, he gets this job finished. It is definitely a happy time in the family as their task gets accomplished.

 After all these happenings, Parvathy’s father gives Parvathy’s hand in marriage to the sincere man Vasootan. The South Indian actor RenjiPanicker plays the role of Vasu’s arch rival, Sridharan in JamnaPyari. R J Creations was the production company under whose banner the motion picture was created. JamnaPyari was distributed by R J release. The talented music composer Gopi Sunder has worked on the music of the movie.
