In the year 2017 ‘Crossroad’ released in theatres and it was an anthology film with the tales of 10 women. The film was a women-centric movie and had ten feature films each with 15 minutes duration. Hence each 15-minute movie needed a prominent female artist to play the role of a protagonist who had to be handled by prominent directors.

In the Malayalam film industry Mathew is known for financing the films and fortunately, he too agrees to take up the project. Unlike other producers, Mathew’s non-interference in the creative process of making the film is what motivates film directors to work towards making the film better.
