Aji Idicula is the co-founder and filmmaker at Megamedia Film Productions & LimeLight Pictures- a production company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He holds citizenship in the United Arab Emirates. Aji Idicula worked as Senior CAD Manager at Sinclair Knight Merz from 2004 to 2009. He is also the Co-Founder & Production Manager at Megamedia Films, Dubai, since 2014. He had the vision to make Arab movies with universal appeal.
His debut feature film was named Camera and was a mainstream genre of psychological thrillers. This film brought his ambition to fruition. It took him ten long years to be able to gather funding and financial resources for his projects.Finally, in 2017, he got funding from the Dubai real estate developer, Dr Faisal Al Mousa of FAM Holdings. He left his full-time job as director for Dubai TV and started working on his debut feature film. “Camera” was a part of the Muhr Awards at the 2017 Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), earning him the Muhr award for Best Emirati Director at DIFF 2017.
