Shreekumar Vakkiyil

Eekumar Vakkiyil is a talented singer and composer working in the Malayalam film industry. He was born in Thrissur in Kerala. He is highly trained in Indian classical music, specifically Carnatic and Hindustani classical music. Vakkiyil is also trained in a number of musical instruments and is also a trained Percussionist.

He got a boost for his singing career after winning the TV reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2003. He started his journey in the Mollywood from the movie Mulla in the year 2008. Neelathamara was the next movie in which he sang the song ‘Anuraga Vilochananayi’ which gave him appreciation in the Malayalam film industry.

This movie was released in 2009. His next movie was Rockstar in which he was a playback singer. This movie was released on screen, in the year 2015.
