Manu Ramesh is an Indian film composer and music producer, sometimes known as Manu Rameshan. On 13 July 1982, Ramesh was born. He mainly worked in the Malayalam Film Industry. Ramesh was the author of the novel ‘The Sales Room’. It was the story of a failing software start-up based in India. He is an avid tennis player, swimmer, enjoys surfing, and going to beaches. Ramesh is also fluent in English, Tamil, French, Kannada, and Hindi.
He has first-hand experience in technology, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. Ramesh is a Mechanical Engineer and persuaded MBA from Rotman School of Management where he specialized in Finance and Strategy.
He is the son of a famous Malayalam lyricist S.Rameshan Nair. Ramesh’s mother's name is P. Rema. He learned piano in the 1990s. He married Uma, who was an assistant professor. Uma taught in the Computer Science department of Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Kochi 2010. They have a daughter, who was born on 19 August 2014. On 17 March 2021, his wife died due to a stroke. She died in the morning with a severe headache.
He has worked in popular movies like Swamy Manikanta. Manu has composed songs for films such as Gulumul: The Escape in 2009, Pidichirukk, Plus Two in 2010. All the songs he produced for the movie Ayal Njanalla acquired rave reviews.
