Anoop Chellappan Nair

Anoop Chellappan Nair is a journalist working in the Malayalam entertainment industry. He is from Mavelikara and lives in Trivandrum. He did his schooling at M T Seminary High School, Kottayam. He went to NSS College Pandalam. He completed his higher studies at Kerala University Campus, Kariavattom. Anoop is married and has a daughter.

Anoop started his career at Kairali TV. Later, he joined Asianet News and is a deputy news producer. Besides being a producer, he is an actor cum writer. He played a role in the 2017 Malayalam movie Meenakshi, directed by P Muralimohan, a journalist turned director. He also published another book, EMSum Daivavum, which had 3 editions. Some of his books are Dakshinafrican Yathrapusthakam, Kadalchorukku, Indiayude Swapna Chirakukal, and Visudha Yudham.
In 2021, Anoop secured an award at The Kerala State Television Award for the Best Commentator for Pattukalkku Kootorukiya Oru Aal.
