Aneesh Chandran was Asianet News Chief Broadcasting Journalist and a native of Kollam. He was the son of R Chandrashekhar Pillai and P Vijayamma. He holds a Masters's degree in Journalism from the Kariyavattam Campus of Kerala University and did an internship at Madhyam newspaper. He worked with Mangalam and Matrubhumi newspapers before joining Asianet News. He shifted from print to visual media. He used to work for Asianet News and then went on to become a journalist on Kerala TV. At first, he worked in Thodupuzha and later in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram. He hosted the popular show FIR which features infamous crime stories and investigations. He became a familiar face among audiences. He passed away at the age of 34.
