Rajeev Gopalakrishnan

Rajeev Gopalakrishnan is an Indian Entrepreneur who is the Group Managing Director and President of South Asia & Executive Director at Bata. Rajeev Gopalakrishnan was born and grown up in Kerala and completed his degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Kerala. In the year 1990, Rajeev Gopalakrishnan got his first job in a shoe company called Vibha shoes in Chennai. Rajeev Gopalakrishnan worked as an Engineer and managed the production for over a year, and his love for shoes started there. Rajeev Gopalakrishnan worked in Bata as a Sales Manager and grown to a higher level by impressing his superiors with his hard work and dedication. Rajeev Gopalakrishnan has moved from Sales Manager to Retail Manager to the Eastern region of India.

Rajeev Gopalakrishnan was given a sales target and he took up the challenge, and in the first year, Rajeev gave a profit of 25 million, and in the second year, he made the region number one with 85 million profit. Rajeev Gopalakrishnan had got the name Turnaround Man for his hard work and dedication. Rajeev Gopalakrishnan played many significant roles in Bata. Rajeev had led the Asia South region for five years, and later from July 2019, he led the Asia-Pacific region of various countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, China, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
