Arju Benn

Arju Benn is a Malayalam film editor, born on 20th April 1985, in Adimali, Kerala. His father is a general physician. He did his graduation in electronics and communication engineering. He studied Digital Film Making in Chennai and began his career with ad films and documentaries. He started his career as an independent film editor with Sernthu Polama, Kohinoor, and EnteUmmante Peru.

He made his debut as a director with a short film called Kattan Kapi, starring Evlin Juliet, in 2014. The film was written by his younger brother Ajmal Benn and produced by another brother Alexo Benn. Both of them worked in the movie under the in-house banner A-Benn Bros. A large portion of the film was worked upon by Arju only, including editing, visual effects, coloring, additional dialogues, and dubbing.

The film went on to win many awards on a national level along with the critical acclamation for the whole crew, including the artistes and screenplay writers. The film was appreciated for its music as well. Now Arju Benn is a part of many national-level feature films, ads, short films, documentaries, and web series.
