MP Sukumaran Nair is an Indian director who worked for the Malayalam film industry. He is a multi-talented director, writer, and producer who worked in many south Indian films. Some of the famous movies in which he shared his contribution are Aparahnam, Kazhakam, Drishtantham, and Ramanam. Sukumaran also won Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival awards for his contribution to Aparahnam in 1991.
He was also a nominee for the Golden Crow Pheasant Award for his film Drishtantham at Kerala International Film Festival in 2006. He also worked as a second unit director in some of the movies.
