Mala Aravindan, the famous film actor known for his comedy roles, was born in  the year 1939 at Ernakulum district. His original name was T K Aravindan and screen name given to him was Mala Aravindan. His father died earlier and his family was shifted to Mala, in Thrissur. He had a great interest in playing Tabla and his mother took him to Cochin Mohammed Us tad, a famous Tabla artist. He started his career as a Tabla artist and started playing Tabla for Kottayam National Theaters, Nadakashala and other troop’s stage plays.
 
He did many character roles in dramas and he got Kerala State Nataka Academy's Best Actor award for his role in Nidhi. Nidhi is a play by Sooryasoma troop. Almost 12 years he acted in dramas. He then acted in Kunju movie, which was his first movie.Unfortunately, the movie didn’t release. The first released movie was Thalirukal in 1967.His film career got a turning point from the movie Sindhooram directed by Balakrishnan . After that film, the name Mala Aravindan echoed in each nook and corner in Malayalam film. There was a time when every director cast the duo Jagathy-Pappu-Mala in their movies. Mala appeared for AIR’s interview programs many times, he also made appearances in some television programs in Doordarshan, Asianet etc, and he was invited as a judge for many comic programs. He acted almost 400 Malayalam films within his 33-yearcareer.
 
Mala Chettan, the name all Malayalee's call him with a respect was married to Geetha. The couple had two children. He had a cardiac arrest on January 19, 2015 and admitted to a private hospital in Coimbatore. Later, he was on ventilator support and on January 28 he passed away, leaving behind all memories.

Harisree Ashokan is a well-known Mollywood Actor, who is known for his comical roles in movies. Before taking the step to act in Films, Harisree first joined the Kalabhavan of Cochin, as a mimicry artist. The legendary Actor Jayaram was also a part of the Kalabhavan. Ashokan’s birth name is Babu, and he was born in Thrissur, in Kerala. He studied till his Tenth Standard in Ernakulam and then went to Cochin to complete his schooling. He came back to Thrissur to gain a Diploma in the field of Telecom Engineering. In the year 1984, he joined the Telecom services of Cochin, as an assistant to the lineman. In the year 1987, He was persuaded to join Kalabhavan, for his mimicry talent, while working as a lineman. He worked as a mimicry artist for another six years. Harisree loved comical acting and has performed in many events. In one such event, famous director Siddique noticed Ashokan’s unique humour sense and gave him a substantial role in his movie Ramji Rao Speaking. This was the key to Ashokan’s entry into Films. So far the comedy king has acted as a chum to many legendary Actors such as Mammooty, Mohanlal, Prithviraj, Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Jayasurya, Jayaram and many more. He began his journey in the career in the year 1986 through a small role in the film Pappan Priyappetta Pappan. He has so far done more than a hundred movies in Malayalam Film Industry. Some of the movies of Harisree are Manushya Mrugam, 15 August, Amma Ammayiamma, Ee Mazha Thenmazha, Pigman, Geethanjali and many more. His recent flicks include the blockbuster Bhaskar The Rascal and 3 wicketinu 365 Runs. His upcoming releases for the year 2016 are Gali Brothers with Srikanth in the lead and Ee Parakkum Thalika 2 with Dileep as the Hero. Malayalam comedy star Pakru, has the prefix Guinness to his name. Ever wondered the reason? He owns the record of a leading role enacted by a shorted actor in a full-fledged film. Born on 31st August 11976, being 2 feet 6 inch tall, Pakru worked as the male lead in the 2005 flick Albhuthadeep. He was adjudged the Special Jury Awards given by Kerala State Film association. His record was recorded in the year 2008 in Guinness Book of World Records. Albhuthadeep is a flick which has various specialties. It has 300 dwarfs, which is distinctive. The plot of the story is about dwarf men and normal ladies in an island. Prithviraj also acted with Pakru in this movie. This movie was a great success in the box office.    The 2010 flick My Big Father had Pakru donning the role of father of Jayaram. He also enacted ther ole of a mentally disturbed person in this film. Pakru has worked in around 40 films.    On his personal front, Pakru is married to Gayathri Mohan and is blessed with a daughter. This comedy star is just 2 feet 6 inches tall and due to his height and experience as an actor, he made it into the Guinness Book of World Records. Before making his debut in films, he had an experience as a mimicry artist in many stage plays and even in competition. His mother encouraged him to participate in competitions so that his participation certificates could get Ajay Kumar a government job.But luck had something else to do with his success. He was well versed in techniques of mimicry, recitation contests, fancy dress competitions, etc. and this talent fetched him applause in any competition he took part. Even in college, he took a keen interest in associating himself with politics, culture or any other form of arts as part of extra-curricular activities. Ajay was a gifted mimicry artist and even taken part in stage shows in Kerala. It is said that film director Vinayan discovered this actor while he was making a film ‘Atbhuta Dweep.'
