Venu Isc

Venugopal, also called Venu, is an Indian director, writer, and cinematographer. He predominantly works in the Malayalam industry. Venu is a founder member of the Indian Society of Cinematographers (ISC), the first-ever in India.

Venu was born on August 26th, 1961 as the grandson of Karur Neelakanta Pillai, a Malayalam literature writer and founder of the Sahithya Pravarthaka Society. Venu’s mother, B.  Venu is the recipient of four National Film Awards The National Film Awards gets presented every year >> Read More... , including three for Best Cinematography. His first two were for ‘Amma Ariyan’ and ‘Namukk Parkkan Munthiri Thoppukal.’ His second national award was for ‘Miss Beatty’s Children,’ directed by Pamela Rooks. Venu received his 3rd National Award for Best Cinematography for his work in T. V.
