He started his career as a Cinematographer with the movie Theeram. He has worked with the Production house of Thankam Movie. He has worked in many films as a Cinematographer like Kalki, Theevandi, Laitham Sundharam, Ladoo, Ottu, Anweshippin Kandethum, and many more. He is the nephew of Director Shyama Prasad.
