. Master Devadas won the Atlas Films Critic Award 2007 in the Best Child Artist category.
He also acted in Athisayan in the same year, starring alongside Hindi actor Jackie Shroff and Kavya Madhavan. Athisayan marked Jackie Shroff’s debut into Malayalam cinema. The film is a remake of the 2003 Hollywood flick Hulk, except for the replacement of scientist Bruce Banning with a savant orphan. Devadas played the role of a child prodigy who has extraordinary powers with which he has to save the world. Shot in Ernakulam and Aluva, the film had a huge promotional campaign to target school children during the summer vacation. However, the film had to compete with Big B and other major releases and became a flop. The film was dubbed in Hindi and released in 2009 as Naya Ajooba.
He acted in the 2008 film Njaan (Me) alongside Jishnu, Karthika and Thilakan.
