Deepti Pillay Sivan

Deepti Pillay Sivan is an Indian film actress, director, and business women in Kerala, India. She was born in Punjab, India. She did her schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya. She graduated in Law from Kerala Law Academy, University of Kerala (1993-1998) and with an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the Regional Institute of Engineering, Bharathiyar University, India. She is a director at Tripod Motion Pictures in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She has handled a variety of roles with enriched experiences - as Director, Producer, Production Designer, and Station Director from Radio Station to Channel Head of Television. Her forte is media strategy, ideas generation, content development, brand identity, and expansion. She is also a volunteer of UNESCO, Old Age Homes, and Orphanages.

English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu are the languages known by her. She started her acting career in 1993 as the main lead in the film Kalippattam directed by Venu Nagavalli, where she acted as the daughter of Mohanlal. It was screened at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa in November (2018), Stuttgart International Film Festival in Germany, Jecheon International Music and Film Festival in South Korea, and many film festivals in USA and Canada. Her documentary became so successful because of it that she has received many International awards, Toronto International Women's Film Festival, Indo-French international film Festival, the Tokyo International Short film festival, Santa Monica Short, The Indie Fest film awards, and London independent film festival. She is working as the Business Head of the Zee Keralam TV channel. She was also interested in sports in her school and college days. She got awarded two prestigious awards - Best Biographical Film and Best Indian Film at Cannes World Film Festival.
