He is married to Shreekumari and has two sons, Akshay and Abhinav. He was settled in the Chendamangalam town of Paravur although he is a native of Kottapuram, Thrissur. He got prominence through his professional drama acting. He showcased his acting skills through serials and cinemas in the regional mass media industry. He also acted in the Satyan Anthikad movie Jomonte Suvisheshangal (2017). He has been in the field of performing arts for almost three decades. He was member of many drama clubs over the years and performed at various stages. In July 2021 amidst the pandemic, the actor suffered a cardiac arrest in which he breathed his last and saw the end of his acting career. He died at his house in Paravur, Kerala. Co-actors of Mani offered their condolences and support to the family.
