The ambitious and gifted actress was voted as the ‘Most Desirable Woman on Television 2017’ by the Bangalore Times. She has appeared on Colors Kannada’s ‘Navaratri Navashakti’. On 25^th February 2018, the actress was invited and honored as a celebrity at St Joseph’s Indian High School’s (Bangalore) event ‘Race For 7’. The aim of the race was to Raise Awareness about Rare Diseases. She received her Bachelor of Architecture Engineering from Rashtreeya Vidyalaya College of Engineering, Bengaluru.

Shwetha had never dreamt of being an actor. Shruti Naidu, the producer of Shrirastu Shubhamastu, chose her for the role after having a glimpse of her photos posted on Facebook. The producer then trained her for acting. The Architect-Engineer marked her debut in the Kannada entertainment industry with her role in Zee Kannada’s daily soap ‘Shrirastu Shubhamastu’. She played the lead role in the hit series. ‘Kal Bettada Darodekoraru’ is her first Kannada film in the industry. She plays a small role in the movie that is based on the novel with the same name. She had also appeared in the reality television series Bigg Boss Kannada 7 (2013).

Shwetha was born on 28^th December 1992. She is married to R Pradeepa, a director.
