, is also a playback singer for Kannada Cinema. They earned the name Chilkunda sisters through their performance in the program Ede Thumbi Haaduvenu, aired on ETV in 2005.
At the young age of 3, she started learning musical lessons from his father. In 1995, at the age of seven, she has given her first concert in Gundlupet. She, along with her sister Indu, has performed over 300 concerts before playback singing. She has received the State Award for Best Playback Singer Award for the song Omkara in the film Aptharakshaka.In 2002, she received the MSIL Best Gaayaki Award.
